12 'main pages', 1 row

Note, these pages are designed to show the diference in layout options when viewed on a desktop/laptop. When viewed on a phone, they are all basically the same, except for the number of 'main pages' shown

Your choice of layout may be influenced by how many 'main pages' you have.

The layout is based on a grid system of 12 blocks

You could have 6 'blocks' for your main pages,

If you had 12 'main pages', as on this page, and used 1 block per 'main page', the preview would be very small and look poor - so instead, you could choose 2 rows of 6.

Alternatively, you could choose three rows of 4 or 4 rows of three.

However, be aware that the larger the blocks are, the longer the page will be on a desktop, laptop or tablet. On a phone, all the images would be the same size, whichever layout you choose. As most views are made on a phone, this shoud be what you consider first - and perhaps limit the number of 'main pages' you have.'

As the grid system is based on 12 blocks, having 5, 7 or 11 'main pages' will not fit any row neatly, so there will be overflow of one or more blocks to the next line (or a shorter row, leaving blank space).

It's probably best to have either 3, 4 or 6 'main pages', then you can eaily switch between layputs
